As former system and school leaders, we know how overwhelming it can feel to navigate the crowded world of professional learning (PL) providers. The options feel endless, and finding a partner who understands your context and delivers real outcomes for students can feel exhausting.
That’s why having the right partner—one that helps you cut through the noise to make evidence-based decisions, provides ready-to-use tools and templates, and brings hard-earned insights from working with diverse schools and districts—can make all the difference.
We’re excited to announce that Lit is now featured in Rivet Education’s Professional Learning Partner Guide (PLPG), a trusted resource designed to help leaders find high-quality, outcomes-driven PL providers.
What is the Professional Learning Partner Guide?
The Professional Learning Partner Guide (PLPG) is a vetted list of organizations that provide the best curriculum-based professional learning services in the country. Inclusion in the PLPG indicates that the provider has passed a three-step evaluation process. Expert reviewers evaluate the materials against the PLPG’s Scoring and Evidence Guide to assess if the organization provides significant evidence of robust, HQIM-aligned professional learning services.
What does this mean for Lit?
Our HQIM adoption services and our ongoing implementation support for leaders is now validated by an external organization. Specifically, Lit passed three gateways of evaluation:
-
- Gateway 1: Content and HQIM expertise Providers are evaluated on the extent to which they have expertise in any HQIM (for launch, ongoing PL for teachers, and/or systems design and support services) or content area (adoption services only).
- Gateway 2: Quality of professional learning design Providers are evaluated on the quality of their services by type—adoption PL, launch PL, ongoing PL for teachers, and system design and leadership support.
- Gateway 3: Using data to plan and improve Providers are evaluated on how they collect and use data to plan for, evaluate, and improve their services.
We’re proud to be included alongside our peers in education and excited to offer our partners (and future partners) this extra layer of confidence in our work.
