{Blog} Lit is now part of the Google.org Accelerator: Generative AI

June 16, 2025

We’re honored to share that Lit has been selected to join the Google.org Accelerator: Generative AI!

Out of nearly 3,000 applications from around the world, Lit is one of just 20 social impact organizations chosen to receive funding, technical training, and hands-on support from Google experts to advance our work on Bloom, an AI-powered platform purpose-built to crack the code of great reading instruction.

With Bloom, students receive daily, targeted foundational skills instruction from a dynamic, expert reading teacher followed by individualized practice and real-time feedback. With support from Google.org, we’re working to bring Bloom to every classroom, everywhere. We can’t wait to learn from and alongside other social impact organizations who are hoping to harness the power of Gen AI in responsible ways. (Check them out here.)
