{Recording} Building a Research-Aligned Reading Ecosystem: A Leader’s Guide to the READ

October 22, 2024

It’s basic biology: we wouldn’t plant a seed and expect it to grow without the right soil, sunlight, and resources. Yet, year after year, we invest time and money in our reading priorities without investing in the ecosystems needed to support them. High-quality instructional materials can’t flourish without professional learning and aligned schedules. Data analysis won’t have an impact without systems and routines for collecting, analyzing, and acting on the data.  And decisions at the top of the ecosystem have significant impacts on the children at the heart of our work.

In this webinar recording, Lit Managing Partner Marissa Fraser helped define the critical components of a research-aligned reading ecosystem using Lit’s Reading Ecosystem Alignment Diagnostic (READ). Watch to explore the READ’s domains and reflect on the strengths and gaps in your own reading ecosystem.
